" Over 15 years ago, I lived next door to my mentor, Television News Anchor Sally Ann Roberts. When her sister, Robin Roberts would come to town it was always so refreshing to see two media professionals just "relaxed" as sisters. Robin was always nice to stop and ask me how I was doing and talk to me. Here is a funny story, Robin's first gift to me was a book. When I picked it up to read it one year later, I found a crisp $100 bill buried deep in the pages. Sally and Robin are both angels and I have been not able to ever forget any of the things that they have done for me. It broke my heart when I found out that Robin was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, but strengthened me to find how she is courageously fighting the battle of her life and winning more and more each day."
